Trade Distribution has been selected to develop a bespoke logistics operation for AKW Ltd.
AKW Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer of accessible bathroom, kitchen and daily living products for the elderly, disabled and people with reduced mobility. They were looking to improve their service and logistics operations i to meet the demands of business growth, accommodate new products ranges as well as boosting delivery performance. They selected Trade Distribution to deliver and operate the new logistics operations, which encompassed a complete re-structuring of warehousing and stock picking and its delivery operations, as wsell as introducing a a dedicated delivery service, using a fleet of AKW branded delivery vehicles.
