Food and drinks specialist Trade Distribution Ltd joined the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF) Board of Directors and a host of members’ at the FSDF AGM and Annual Lunch at Carnegie Stadium, Headingley, Leeds on Wednesday 25th May 2016.
As one of the event sponsors, Trade Distribution was delighted to be involved with the FSDF Annual Lunch and as well as enjoying the event, we will continue to support FSDF’s efforts in representing the food and drinks logistics.
The annual event which also incorporates the Federation’s Annual Lunch and FSDF Health & Safety Awards; presented how the organisation has been looking after the needs of members and the impact of its lobbying efforts over the past year.
Critical issues facing the food logistics sector were once again the primary focus of the AGM. The shifting landscape of the UK Food industry, led by the food retail sector; together with ever changing audit and regulatory requirements present real challenges to the food logistics sector. This forum provided the opportunity for the temperature controlled logistics industry to discuss the impact of these issues from a supply chain perspective.
